1st Agrifood Forum CEV. Committed to healthy eating

The CEV organizes the 1st CEV Food Forum "Committed to healthy eating", on 29 October at 9:00 am in the Auditorium CEV (Hernán Cortés 4, Valencia).

This forum aims to raise awareness of the efforts of Valencian agri-food companies to respond to the preferences of a consumer increasingly concerned about their health and the environment.

The Valencian agri-food companies participate together with the national and international authorities in the strategies of nutrition and prevention of obesity, especially in the child population.

They are present in initiatives such as the Plan for the improvement of the composition of food and beverages and other measures that include commitments to reformulate the manufacturing and distribution sectors for various types of food and beverages commonly consumed by children, young people and families, focusing on the reduction of added sugars, salt and saturated fats.

This conference is part of the activities linked to the priority of RIS3-Comunitat Valenciana's Mediterranean Quality Food and, specifically, to the challenge of healthy eating.
